Open Wheel Revival
Open Wheel racing is floundering, with Sam Hornish and AJ Allmendinger now flirting with NASCAR, and needs a spark to bring it back. Having two rival series is hurting it, but who could unite the two?
NASCAR itself should purchase both series and unite them. It can find a sponsor for the new combined series and run it. Open wheel's biggest problem is lack of exposure and sponsorship. NASCAR could bring exposure to open wheel, and after open wheel racing revives, more profit to itself.
